Marika Frank

Marika Frank is an Independent Population Health Consultant based in New Jersey. Marika has over twenty years of experience in her field, which includes leadership and consulting. She works with Healthcare Information Management Systems, Telemedicine, and Life Sciences.

Since 2020, Marika Frank has been working as an Independent Consultant. In this role, she assists clients with research, design, development, monitoring, and optimizing their physician and patient programs. This helps them meet (and measure) specific health and behavioral outcomes. This work benefits patients and healthcare providers alike. In particular, Marika has experience designing and managing programs utilizing e-health and telemedicine to help increase productivity and wellness in clinical settings.

Over the years, Marika Frank has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience. Before going independent, she was a Strategic Program Director for AMR Consulting LLP. As a Strategic Program Director, Marika was responsible for driving new business development for market penetration, developing (and implementing) go-to-market strategies based on strategic planning, and managing multiple projects. During the seven years she worked for AMR Consulting, the company saw a year-over-year net profit increase of 150%. They also acquired eight key corporate and county accounts during this time.

Before this most recent role, Marika Frank was a Business Development Director for DoctorDirectory.com. This prompted Marika to lead new business development for market penetration, partnership opportunities, and client acquisition. She conducted needs assessments, qualitative and quantitative research and incorporated epidemiology, statistical reasoning, ethics, and strategic account planning principles. Marika was also a Business Development Director for McKesson Patient Relationship Solutions. Specifically, she worked on developing new territory for MPRS – a leading global information and technology services company. MPRS provides clients in the healthcare industry with end-to-end solutions which help to measure and improve their performance. Other roles Marika Frank has held include Strategic Account Manager (Quintiles CRO) and Global Account Director (Cegedim Strategic Data Solutions).

Marika Frank’s life as a professional began with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from John Hopkins University. After graduation, Marika continued her education with a Master’s in Public Health, Health Policy, and a Management focus. She earned this degree through the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Marika Frank also holds a Solution Sales certification from Miller Heiman Group Sales Performance.

As a professional in the medical industry, Marika Frank is passionate about staying updated on the latest technological trends and inventions, especially as they pertain to public health. In particular, Marika likes to stay informed on new treatments, devices, and clinical trials. In Marika’s opinion, healthcare will likely move toward a more virtual setting, closing the gap in the social determinants of health.

When Marika Frank isn’t busy with work, she loves spending time with her family. Marika has two children – a teenage son and a daughter. She is very involved in their lives and schools and her alma maters. Marika also enjoys volunteering. Most recently, she has volunteered with the Catholic Charities of Baltimore, the Abilities Network, and the American Heart Association. Other organizations she’s worked with include the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Planned Parenthood of Maryland, and Presbyterian Church in America.
